IF you don't own a water bath canner, you can use any large pot that is big enough to hold the jars you are using and fill with water to an inch or so over the top of the jars. Just be sure to put a dish towel or something on the bottom of the pot and I would wait to heat it until you have the filled jars placed carefully (not touching each other) inside. Make sure that the jars are not touching each other, the sides or the bottom of the pot.
